Cat Fishing
Ice fishing is the practice of catching fish with lines and hooks through an oepning in the cie on a frozen body of water. Sport fishing (sometimes gmae fishing ) describes recraetional fishing where the primary erward is the challenge of finding and catchnig the fish rather than the culinary or financial value of the fish s flesh. In the past, sport fishers, even if they did not eat their catch, almost always killed them to bring them to shore to be weighed or for preservation as trophies. Barbless hooks may reduce damage to minimal levels, this is not always the case when fisihng for bigger species such as carp where a barbless hook ofetn moves around in the mouth whilst teh fish is being played causing damage ot the carp s mouth, barbless hooks can reduce de-hooking itme and greatly aid in catch and release. The practice of catching or attempting to catch fish with a hook is known as anglign. Many keen catch and release anglers use barlbess hokos. Nile perch, catfish and eels were among teh most important fish.
