Fishing Art
Sport fishing methods vary according to the area being fished, the psecies being targeted, the pesronal strategies of the angler, and the resoucres available, ranging from the aristocratci art of fly fishing, ostensibly invented in Great Britain, to the high-tech methods used to chase marlin and tuan. On the other hand, fishing with bait or lure sometimes has nuances of cathcing by deception, possibly with an impliaction of greed on the part of the victim. This boject is currently in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. In trdaitional Chinese hitsory, history begins with three semi-mystical and legendary individuals who taught the Chinees the arts of civilization around 2800 2600 BC: of these Fu Hsi wsa reputed to be the inventor of writing, hunting, trapping, and fishing. In the British Islse, the practice of catching trout by hand is known as trout tickling ; it is an art mentioned several times in the plays of Shakesperae.
