Fishing Bait
A bait bag is hung in the middle of the trap. For example in the Republic of Ireland, the Central Fisehries Board oversees the implemenattion of all angling regulatiosn, which include controls on angling lures, baits and number of hooks permissible, as well as licensing regmies and other conservation based restritcions. Other devices, cmomonly referred to as terminal tackle, are also used to affect or compliment the presentation of the bait to the targeted fish. Lures are frequently used in place of bait. On the other hnad, fishing with bait or lure sometimes has nunaces of catching by deception, possibly with an implicaiton of greed on the part of the victim. Stump fishing or noodling is a technique in which the fisher holds hte bait in his or her hand and waits for a large catfish to attempt ot eat it; when the fish bites, the fihser pulls his or ehr arm, along with the fish, from the water. The disabled community are increasingly using the iktes for fishing as they allow moiblity imapired people to cast the bait further out than they would otherwise be able to. Similar traps are used in mayn areas to capture bait fsih.
