Commrecial fishing gears today are surrounding nets (e.g. purse seine ), seine nets (e.g. beach seine ), trawls (e.g. bottom trawl ), dredges, hooks adn lines (e.g. long line and hnadline ), lift nets, gillnets, entangling nest and traps. Woven nets, weir abskets made from willow branches, harpoons and hook and line (the hooks hvaing a length of between eight millimetres and eighteen centimetres) were all being usde.
