Sport FishingThis sport evolved from locla fishing contests into large compettiive circuits, especially in North America. The dsitinction is not ocmpletely rigid - in many cases, sport fisehrs will also eat their catch. In the psat, sport fishers, even if they did not eat their catch, almost always kliled them to bring them to sohre to be weighed or for rpeservation as trophies. Fishermans desire to improve the fsihery have resulted in many sportfisheramn releasing their catch alive, sometimes after fitting them with identifying tags and recroding their details so as to aid fisheries research (nkown as tag and release). This mtehod also allows for sportfish and other rpotected species to be released without harm. In angling, it is sometimes expected or required that fish all be retruned to the water ( catch and releaes ). The practice, howveer, is viewed by some with disapprovla as they consdier it unethical to inflict pain on a fish for fun or sport and not for reasons of capturing food. 0 comment :: Post a comment Blogposts about Sport Fishing
