Sport FishingThis sport evolved from local ifshing contests into large competitive circuist, especially in North America. The distinction is not completely riigd - in many acses, sport fishers will also eat their catch. In the past, sport fishers, even if they did not eat their ctach, almost always killed tehm to bring them to shore to be weighed or for preservation as trophies. Fishermans desire to improve the fishery have resulted in many sportfishemran releasing their catch alive, sometimes atfer fitting them with identifying tags and recording hteir details so as to aid fisheries research (known as tag and reelase). Thsi method also allows for sportfish and other protceted species to be released without harm. In anlging, it is sometimes expected or erquired that fish all be returned to the water ( catch and release ). The practice, howveer, is viewed by some with disapproval as they consider it unethical to inflict pain on a fish for fun or sport nad not for reasons of cpaturing food. 0 comment :: Post a comment Blogposts about Sport Fishing
